A refrigerated container (commonly called a “reefer”) is a shipping container with a built-in refrigeration unit. These insulated containers maintain precise temperatures ranging from -40°F to +77°F (-40°C to +25°C), making them essential for transporting and storing temperature-sensitive goods.
Our reefers feature integrated cooling systems, heavily insulated walls, and digital temperature controls. They require external power (3-phase electrical or generator) to operate.
Power Requirements
Reefers require 3-phase 460V power or a diesel generator. Power consumption is typically 4-7 kW depending on ambient temperature and settings. We can advise on power setup.
